Regimental Master Gunner
           
           
           
The role of the Regimental Master Gunner (RMG) has evolved over time to keep pace with changes to establishments and senior RAA appointments. The RMG is the senior WO1 appointment within the RAA. As the RMG he provides advice on and is responsible for, Regimental ceremonial firings and other ceremonial events. The RMG assists in and advises on the development and management of Artillery Trade and Training.  The RMG also manages all regimental property, including the Banner of QEII, and the Ewen and Mattner Awards for excellence
