The RAAHC is a volunteer, not-for-profit organisation of members incorporated under the Australian Corporations Act. A Board of Directors elected by the members governs the Company according to its Constitution and Governance Charter.
The members of the RAAHC comprise individuals who have a passion in the history and heritage of Australian artillery. This includes Gunners past and present, service personnel and their families, and other individuals.
Our aim is to foster, maintain and promote the heritage of artillery in Australia, through our collection and by publishing articles and journals on subjects of historical interest, whilst providing a source of reference to those who share an interest in this field.
In so doing we will cooperate closely with the Regimental Committee of the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery (RAA), the Army History Unit (AHU), the various RAA Associations established around Australia, and organisations with close links to the heritage of the RAA (eg artillery and veteran associations, the RSL, government bodies, etc).
This website will play a major role in communicating and interacting with our members and others. |
