In retirement Barry purchased two businesses, the Steel Shed Construction Company and the Polyethylene Company (developing box and boat trailers). However, in 2010 he sold both of these companies and he and his wife then moved-up to live in Tully. Barry looks-back on his service in the Army with very fond memories.
