Historical Specifics:

Origin of the gun is unknown but suspected to be from a merchant vessel. It is understood three of the guns were held by a family with links to early trade. Two guns remain the third having in recent years been given to a third party. Efforts are presently under way to identify the motif on the gun barrel which should provide us with the manufacturer information.
