Historical Specifics:

The gun was captured by the 5th Battalion 1st AIF on 23 August 1918. Originally allocated to Dandenong High this gun ended up at the Armour Museum at Puckapunyal and was dispersed in the early 90s in a tender sale of surplus items.  It went to a collector in Victoria and then to its present owner.
