This 25 pounder was given to Parkes from the Bogan gate Military Establishment in the mid 1980s. It was a feature to the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and was removed in 2000 when the new Cenotaph was erected in Cooke Park. The gun was moved to its present location. |
