On This Day Wednesday 14th May 2008 a Coral Artillery Commemorative Ceremony is conducted at the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery National Memorial, Canberra. During the Ceremony His Excellency the Governor-General, Major General Michael Jeffery, officially presents 102nd Field Battery with an Honour Title for its actions in the Battle of Coral, in May 1968 (the Vietnam War).

The Battery’s official title is now ‘102nd (Coral) Field Battery’.
