Post Federation

On 1 July 1903 the militia, partially-paid and volunteer field and garrison artillery corps of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania were reorganized and redesignated as components of the Australian Field Artillery or the Australian Garrison Artillery respectively.¹
