On This Day Friday 14th July 1899 Her Majesty, Queen Victoria, formally approves the formal amalgamation of the New South Wales Artillery, the Victoria Artillery and the Queensland Artillery Regiments as the Royal Australian Artillery (to take effect on 24th August).
