| On This Day Monday5th July 1897 the commencement of the School of Gunnery’s first Long Course which includes students from other colonies. Those attending the Course from the other colonies are an officer and five non-commissioned officers from the Victoria Artillery, two non-commissioned officers from the Queensland Artillery and one non-commissioned officer from the Western Australia Artillery (the School is located at Sydney’s South Head). | ||||
