| Historical Specifics: |
The gun was obtained by the Moree RSL in the 1970s and displayed near the RSL Club. In 2007 the gun was transferred to the Moree Council who have undertaken restoration of the gun, painting it in desert colours following discussion with local citizens. A suitable site for its display was still under consideration in 2008. The photo was taken when the gun was still at the RSL Club. No identification plates could be found during the restoration. |
